The special exhibit "Shape and Symmetry: The Beauty of Science at the Nanoscale" held at the Science Museum of Minnesota during Nanodays 2010 (March 29-April 3), introducing the public to nanostructured materials. The artwork was provided by Professor A. Stein's research group and was based in part on research from NSF-funded projects

At least one grade-2 student mentioned to his teacher after the show that he wanted to become a chemist when he grows up.
